On Saturday, August 30th, Ezekiel Taylor Scholarship Foundation board member Clay Wallace will join hundreds of cyclists in the MACC ONE LOVE Bike Ride — but for Clay, this is more than just miles on a bike. It’s a ride on a mission: to help fund college scholarships for young African-American men.

Clay shares why this ride means so much to him:

"I’ve been cycling for nearly two decades, riding 1,000 to 1,500 miles most years. It started as a way to stay fit, but over time I found something even more valuable — a community that is welcoming, encouraging, and fun.
Twelve years ago I connected with the Major Taylor Cycling Club Chicago, named after Major Taylor, an African-American world champion cyclist from the late 19th and early 20th centuries who faced relentless discrimination yet still achieved greatness.

As the father of an African-American son, I feel a deep connection to the mission of the Ezekiel Taylor Scholarship Foundation. This organization changes lives by providing education, empowerment, and encouragement at a time when so many opportunities are being taken away. I am proud to serve on a board that refuses to let our young men be left behind."*

Your donation will help turn miles into milestones — transforming a bike ride into a scholarship, a degree, and a brighter future. Every contribution, big or small, fuels the dreams of the next generation.

Please give today. Together, we can change the course for these young men.
