EZTaylor Board member Runs NYC Marathon for Scholarships

Our Board Member, Jacob Qualls, knows a thing or two about defying the odds. Jacob Qualls is a survivor who lost one of his lungs as a teenager. Despite the odds, he’s training to run the 2024 New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 3, 2024 in support of the Ezekiel Taylor Scholarship Foundation. Funds raised for the 501 c3 organization will provide scholarships and career programming for college-bound young Black men from Chicago, Illinois who have been impacted by gun violence.

Please support Jacob in his quest, thus supporting African-American young men achieve their college dreams through our foundation.

More than 175 students and graduates across 30 colleges and universities have been aided by the Ezekiel Taylor Scholarship Foundation, since 2017. Please consider supporting Board Member and one-lunged marathoner, Jacob Qualls, in his efforts to enable the EZTaylor Foundation students run their best race and successfully cross the finish line in college and life.
